She was predeceased by: her parent Azlee White Middleton; her husband Buddy Lee Melson; her grandparents, Will and Ocie Eula White; her sisters, Peggy Wilbanks, Charlotte Morris and Sue Melton; and her granddaughter Stormy Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lee Melson, Teresa Hughes, Bobby Melson (Karen), Amy Sharp (Randy), Danny Melson (Mary Ann) and Randy Melson (Telenia); and her siblings, Wanda Evans, Roger Middleton, Anthony Middleton, Renee Eddings and Edward Middleton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery (1780 Mt Herman Rd, Savannah, TN 38372).
