She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ferrell and Lula Hood Ferrell; her husband Harold D. Tacker; her former husband Bernis Hardin; her children, Lloyd Tacker and Rebecca Umphrey; and her stepdaughter Karen McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Retta White of Savannah, Tennessee, Harold Tacker of Savannah and James Boyd Tacker (Sandy) of Red Bay, Alabama; her siblings, Francis Clement of Savannah, Tennessee, Nancy Easley of Savannah, Tennessee, Barbara Ferrell of Savannah, Tennessee and Bob Ferrell of Indiana; and her grandchildren, Mandy Franks, Jennifer Tacker, Brian Tacker, Shanna Tibbs, Karren Kimbel, Tyron Tacker, Brandon Tacker, Jeffrey Umphrey and Jake Umphrey. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
