He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer K. "Boots" Howard and Edna Louise White Howard. He is survived by: his wife Janet Howard of Savannah, Tennessee; his sons, Derek Ray Howard (Jill) and Darren Ray Howard; his brother Jimmy Wayne Howard (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Jakob Holden Howard, Isaac Wade Howard, Ethan Paul Howard and Layla Claire Howard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Darryl Worley Cancer Center.
