She was predeceased by: her parents, John Laurel and Mirle Scott Daniel; her husband Charles Edward Sherrill; her son Jerry Gammill; her grandchildren, Johnny Boston and Julie Boston; her great grandchild Madison Boston; and her siblings, Jobie Daniel, Eulus Daniel, Leo Daniel, Roy Daniel, J. L. Daniel, Verna Mae Paulk, Eloise Ward, Cleo Daniel Beckham and Doris Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Gammill (Ruby) of Savannah, Judy Gray of Savannah and Jo Nell Walker of Glen, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Carla Moss (Benji), Timothy DeShazier, Misti Stricklin (Lance), Kenny Gammill (Beth), Kassi Gammill, Dewayne Boston, Julia Gray, Cindy Gammill, William Gammill and Kimberly Sanders (Dekaire). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
