It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Bevis (Savannah, Tennessee), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Willard and Florence Leona Michael Bevis; his siblings, Willard Junior, Charles Edward Bevis and Margie Dell Bevis; and his son-in-law Roger Gordon Sturgis.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Clement Bevis; his children, Jerry Bevis (Michelle) and Charlotte Sturgis; his grandsons, Ethan Bevis (Amber), Mason Bevis (Dakota), Andrew Sturgis and Joshua Sturgis (Annie); his great grandchildren, Logan Littrell, Matt Lewis and Ava Bevis; and his siblings, Ray Bevis (Sue), Helen Qualls, Wilma Brown and Kathy Lard (Ralph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
