He is survived by: his children, Melissa Hottiman (Lamond) of Savannah, Tennessee, Connie Frost (Jerald) of Savannah, Tennessee, Charles Deshazier of Savannah, Tennessee and Jeffrey Deshazier (April) of Savannah, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Cameron Deshazier, Ashley Deshazier, Starla Hopkins, Dirish Hottiman, Nathan Frost, Brittany Landrum, Timothy Deshazier, Bessie Deshazier and Jeffrey Deshazier, Jr.; and his siblings, Betty Lewis, Viola Holt, Odie Deshazier, David Deshazier and Carmack Deshazier. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
