He was predeceased by: his daughter Laurie Deen Bateman; and his sister Rose Marie Deen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Deen of Saulsbury; his children, Julie Deen of Millington, TN, Mark Deen of Saulsbury, Tim Reynolds (Tina) of Memphis and Laura Miller Nicola (Doug) of Urbana, IL; his sister Jean Blankenship of Bartlett; his grandsons, Tim Simer (Kirolina), Austin Bateman, Houston Bateman and Alex Leigh; and his great grandchild Ryan Simer.
