He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mayes; his children, Beverly Bumpus (Ronnie) and Ralph Mayes (Sheila); and his sisters, Paula McAlpin of Lagrange and Bonnie Johnson of Grand Junction. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
