He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Poore and Lena Ashby; and his siblings, Marjorie Weaver, Iris Neblett and George Poor.

He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Ann Poore; his children, Carol Dunlap (George), Robert Poore (Jessica Luna-Vega) and James Poore; his siblings, Barbara King (Tommy) and Robert Poor; and his grandchildren, Jacob Dunlap (Hannah), Noah Dunlap, Julia Luna Ortiz, Josselen Luna Ortiz and Jennavieve Luna-Vega Poore.
