He is survived by: his son-in-law Winfred Ray of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Tammy McDonald (Roger) of Bolivar and Terry Ray (Angela) of Knoxville; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Graham (Nikki), Christy Graham, Tara Smathers, James Tyler Ray (Amber), Melody Grace Evans (Jordan), Joshua Andrew Ray, Charity LeeAnne Ray, Jeremiah Adam Ray, Gloria Faith Ray, Josiah Benjamin Ray and Kathryn Joy Ray; and his great great grandchildren, Connor Graham, Jackson Graham "Jack" and Baylynn Graham "Windy".
