She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joseph Carter and Bernice Holland Carter; her husband Ralph Mayes Sr.; and her siblings, Robert Carter and Peggy Hailey.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Cralley (Judy), Allen Cralley (Tami) and Kevin Cralley (Jean); her stepchildren, Beverly Bumpus and Ralph Mayes, Jr. (Sheila); her grandchildren, Gabe, Kole and Elizabeth; and her sister Bernedia Carter Perkins (John).
