He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Joel Flint and Lily Marie Stewart Flint; and his sister Marcie Fears. He is survived by: his children, Brandon S. King (Alisa) of Saulsbury, Derrick J. Flint of Saulsbury, David J. Flint (Stephanie) of Hazel Hurst, GA and April Cox of Warner Robbins, GA; his siblings, Wesley J. Flint (Linda) of Kennett, MO and Nellie Looker of Millington; and his close friend Larry Young (Cynthia) of Saulsbury. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
