He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ross and Jewell E. Russell Ross; his daughter Peggy King; his siblings, Roy Gene Ross and Willie Mae Johnson; and his grandson Donnie Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ross; his children, Ronnie Hart (Joyce), Doris Scott (Danny) and Teresa Camper (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Dorinda Petty (Kevin), Chris King (Michelle), Josh King (Amy), Chris McDaniel, Jeremy Hart (Brandi), Dustin Scott, Candice Peterson (Nick) and Kashia Camper. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
