Phyllis Joan left this world on April 7, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her mother Verda Lucille Gooch. She is survived by: her husband Robert Griffin of Samburg; her children, Deanna Homrich (Chris) of Neptune Beach, Thomas "Lee" Griffin (Erin) of Samburg and Chenelle Adams (Shane) of Ripley; and her grandchildren, Lauren Homrich, Anna Homrich, Kaycee Griffin, Landon Griffin, McKinlee Griffin, Ali Adams and Khloe Adams. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Samburg Assembly of God Church (253 Reelfoot Ave, Hornbeak, TN 38232). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

The family requests memorials to be sent to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
