He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hayes and Virginia Dare Hayes; and his brother Marvin Hayes Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hayes; and his sons, Michael Hayes, Wil Marvin Hayes and Drew Hayes (Sara Beth). He is also survived by his sisters.
