He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Moton and Clara Maude Byrd (Jordon); his daughter Lana Jo Berry; and his siblings, Frances Wynne, Dot Bunch, Alice Rainer, Geneva Byrd, Tucker Byrd, Tony Byrd and Bob Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Louise Crews (Gantlett) of Samburg; his children, Cheryl Burrows (Randy) of Ravenswood, WV, Stephen Walls of Samburg, TN and Andy Crews (Kim) of Hornbeak, TN; his siblings, Freddie Farmer of West, MS, Sherry McClellan of Jackson, MS and Sam Byrd of Cleveland, MS; and his grandchildren, Christa Conn of Union City, TN, Chayra Watkins of Ravenswood, WV, Alyssa Robertson of Hornbeak, TN, Drew Crews of Jackson, TN, Zach Crews of Troy, TN, Russell Downing of Holiday, TN and Kyle Berry of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
