He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Griffin and Jeanette Griffin (Wiles); and his brother Tommy Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Griffin (Franklin) of Samburg; his daughters, Kim Davis (Larry) of Samburg and Dawn "Dee Dee" Griffin of Union City; his siblings, Joyce Ann Stout of Ridgely, Robert Griffin (Joan) of Samburg and Mac Griffin (Michelle) of Samburg; and his grandchildren, Keisha Mosley of Hornbeak, Kellena Davis of Samburg, Jordan Davis of Samburg, Matalyn Kelly of Union City, Jace Jones of Union City, Annalece Morton of Union City and Alana Morton of Union City. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Samburg Assembly of God (253 Reelfoot Ave, Hornbeak, TN 38232). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
