She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sylvester Dickey and Minnie Leona Hutchcraft (Bell); her spouse Harvie Eugene Dexter; her daughter Sybil Leggett (Danny) of Union City; her grandchildren, Danielle Leggett (Jeremy Hearn) of Union City, Bethany Walker of Union City, Dakota Dexter (Alyssa) and Mikalee Jones; and her son Anthony Dexter. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
