She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester and Maggie Mae Webb Paulk; her husband George Shannon; and her siblings, Harry Allen Paulk, Jane Nunnelee and Jean Davis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Johnson of Saltillo, TN and Kay Ford of Lebanon, TN; her grandchildren, Sara Hodge (Timmy) and Matthew Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Zac, Kaleigh, Jacob and Landen.
