He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia Redden Sutton; his parents, Elvert Sutton and Nettie Sutton; and his siblings, Viola Shelton, Jessie Travis, Bessie Patton, Mildred Hicks, Phyllis Sutton, Howard Sutton and Roy Sligh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Crystal Griffin (Mike), Cynthia Gibson (Jessie) and Maria Edge (Sam); his sisters, Ruth McRee, Irene Sutton, Dorothy Pelfrey, Lena, Patricia Harmon, Becky Redden (Dalford) and Sue Lawson; and his grandchildren, Tony Rohland, Jr., Ryan Gravett, Ashley Reyneso, Jesseca Reece, Hunter Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Mary Sutton, Justin Sutton, Ethan Clary, Alix Edge, Braylee Edge and Baylee Edge. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
