He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thacker Brooks; his children, Charlie Elsea (Sandy) and Sherri May (Tommy); his grandchildren, Makalah Bradley (James), Bailey Morgan, Ayden Elsea, Jayden Minyard, Stone May, Bryce May, Cami May and Shelby Greenwood; his great grandchildren, Colton Ricketts, Maisie Ricketts, River Bradley, Brayden Young, Aubrie Skiles and Anzleigh Seavers; and his siblings, Darlene Britton, Bonnie Green (Don) and Charles Brooks (Suki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
