He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Donald Lee "Rusty" Walden, Jr.; his parents, Elmer Walden and Lucille Walden; his siblings, Patsy Bishop, Josie Miller, Bill Walden and Buddy Walden; his wife Diane Jones Walden; his children, Alan Walden (Kelly) and Kimberly Cain (Mark); his daughter-in-law Cherie Walden; his sisters, Peggy Herman and Glenda Sutfin; and his grandchildren, Mark Cain, Jr. (Cristal), Donald Walden III (Whitney), Tara Saint (Jason), Rusty Walden, Alan Walden, Jr. (Ashley) and Allison Walden. He was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren, and several extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
