He was predeceased by: his wife Glennis Hirt; his daughter Heather Hirt; and his grandmother Bunny Perkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Smith (Brian) and Christine Watson (Shane); his parents, Harry Hirt and Donna Hirt; his sisters, Darlene Anderson (Michael), Debra Smith (David) and Elizabeth VanDelinder; and his grandchildren, Austin, Arica, Dylan, Logan, Aiden, Hayden, Rylan and Gunnar.
