Darlene Anderson Obituary

Darlene Marie (Hirt) Anderson, 61, of Sale Creek, TN passed away on July 27, 2021 at her home. She had been a resident of this area since 1996 and was of the Lutheran faith. With Darlene, a Marine was never without a home or a meal. Her home was their home and she loved cooking for them. Darlene, enjoyed attending the Marine Corp.

Ball, she loved her family, and always greeted people with multiple hugs and a smile. Her greatest happiness was meeting Reggie White of the Packers. Darlene was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bunny; brother, David Hirt; and nephew, Darren Jahnke. She is survived by her husband, Michael Anderson of Sale Creek; her parents, Harry and Donna Hirt of Bakewell; her son, Nathan (Brandy) Anderson of Dayton; sisters, Elizabeth Vandelinder of Jonesboro, TN, and Deborah (David) Smith of Dayton; three grandchildren, Autumn, Kylie, and Blaine; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday August 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Jacks officiating. No visitation is scheduled at this time.
