He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hancock and Cora Hancock (Shadwick); his son Bobby Hancock, Jr.; and his siblings, Floyd Hancock, Jr., Charles Hancock, Helen Montgomery, Joby Morgan, Judy Kaylor and Betty Keltch.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Hancock (McSpadden) of Sale Creek; his daughter Angie Headlee (Rick) of Dayton; his stepchildren, Jason Gentry (Cathy) of Sale Creek, Beth Keylon (Jeff) of Sale Creek and Becky Runyan (Jeff) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Daniel Headlee (Brandy) of Dayton, Nicole Smith (Dylan) of Dayton, Jessica Hancock and Paige Hancock of Florida; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Keylon (Megan) of Dayton, Madeline Henry (Andrew) of Chattanooga, Michael Runyan of Fort Wayne, IN and Matthew Runyan of Fort Wayne, IN; his great grandchildren, Audrey Headlee and Robert Headlee; his siblings, Billy Ray Hancock (Brenda) of Graysville and Gladys Clark (Rick) of Pikeville; and his great-grand bunny Cinnamon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Rigsby Cemetery.
