He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Raleigh Green and Lonnie McLaughlin Green; his wife Verna Fillius Green; and his siblings, Annie Green Marston, Nellie Green Allen, Edward, Herbert, Henry Green and Robert L Fulks.
He is survived by: his children, James T Green, Jr. (Peggy) of Apex, NC, Harry N Green of St. Joseph, TN, Mary E Rippy of St. Joseph, TN, Martha Billings (Tony) of St. Joseph, TN and Joseph Green (Miriam) of St. Joseph, TN; and his brothers, Robert Green and Oscar Howard "Dimmer" Green of St Joseph, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
