He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Kincer Scott and Loring B. Scott; his sister Thelma Ruth Scott; his former wife Betty Lynn Kincer; and his children, Theresa Lynn Kincer and Mike Kincer.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Taylor Kincer; and his children, Randy Kincer, Greg Kincer (Tonia), Tania Kent (Rick) and Becky Smith (Jimmy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
