She was predeceased by: her son Jonathon Stem; her parents, Volney "Buddy" Pitts, Sr. and Amanda Louise Pitts (Culpepper); and her siblings, Linda Peterson, Aline Hurn, William "Billy" Pitts, Volney "Sonny" Pitts, Jr., Volney Allen Pitts and Jerry Pitts.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Nguyen and Riley Stem; her granddaughters, Presley Stem, Payslee Roden and Karlie Miller; and her siblings, Ricky Pitts, Tim Pitts (Lanie), Judy Schrader (Glenn), Nellie Spain (Mason), Rita Hollandsworth (Larry), Sherry Crownover and Joyce Hudson (Terry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and workplace friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral expenses.
