He is survived by: his wife Norma McCormic Capps; his children, Cherie Hickman (Clint) of Rutherford, TN, Kevin Capps (Kelly) of Clarksville, TN, David Capps (Sherry) of Deer Park, IL and Darrell Capps (Donna) of Wylie, TX; his siblings, Annie Louise Crawford of Springville, TN and Lowell Ray Capps of Paris, TN; and his grandchildren, Zach Capps, Shelby Williams (Jordan), Jacob Capps (Amber), Cheyenne Capps, Morgan Capps, Ashley Capps (Osiel Posadas), Hannah Davis (JD), Katie Hickman (Pepper Butler), Thomas Hickman and Jacob Lucas Hickman. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
