With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita Joyce Shoemaker of Rutherford, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lowrance and Juanita Lowrance (King); and her brother Bobby Fowler. She is survived by: her husband Gary Shoemaker; her children, William Bradley Montgomery, Darrell "Shane" Montgomery, Melissa Smith (Randy) and Ashley Shoemaker (Katelyn); her sister-in-law Elaine Fowler; and her grandchildren, T. J. Montgomery, Dallas Montgomery, Mallorie Smith, Emily Smith and Addison Shoemaker. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
