He was predeceased by: his parents, Nat "Bill" Edwards and Mary Barrett Edwards; and his brothers, Jack, Dan and Joe Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Murchison Edwards; his children, Ronnie Edwards, Jr. (Debbie), Nerissa Edwards Tenpenny (Joe) and Christy Edwards Tracy (Bob); his grandchildren, Adam Tenpenny, Eric Edwards, Beth Henry (Jonathan), Heather Bankston (Otto), Abbi Thomson (Brandon) and Rachel Harrub (Will); his great grandchildren, Julee, Savannah, Autumn, Madilyn, Eleanor, Emma, Luke, Brooklyn, Kinley Jo and Danica; his brother Steve Edwards (Martha); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Edwards.
