She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Leyhew and Cassie Hutchins Leyhew; her husband Tommie A. Reed; her daughter Ruby Reed Loyd; and her siblings, Ernest Leyhew, Gracie Moss, Stella Leyhew, Bessie Layne, Ruby Leyhew and Johnnie Maxwell.

She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Wayne Reed and John William Reed; her grandchildren, Ronnie Reed (Beth) and Michelle Loyd-Pettit (Matt); her great grandchildren, Taryn, Caitlyne, Serenity, Brison, Finley, Blaine Reed, Gracelynn and Joe Dillon; her great great grandchild Brinleigh Mae (Araya); and her sister-in-law Elsie Painter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shiners Children's Hospital.
