He is survived by : his children, Jeffery A.'Jeff'Smith of Rutherford, Jill Smith Koback of Murfreesboro and Jerianne Smith Poe (Travis) of Murfreesboro; his sister Addie Rose Brelsford of Rutherford; his grandchildren, Samantha Koback, Asher Poe and Ansley Poe; his niece Jenny Brelsford Turner (Kevin); his nephew John Brelsford; his great-niece Julianna Turner; and his great-nephew Ethan Turner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford (669 S Trenton St, Rutherford, TN 38369). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rutherford Cemetery.
