He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Dover and Freddie Mae Taylor Dover; and his son Jonathan Hickman. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Dover, Michael Dover, Jr. (Nikki), Josh Harrison, Beth Alexander (DJ), Michelle Poston (Jim), Jennifer Brewer (Michael) and Destiney Cottrell; and his brother Jeff Dover. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
