She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret Wheatley Pate and Drewis Allen Pate; her former husband Alfred Whitworth; and her husband Ray Milton King. She is survived by: her brother Joe Hamilton Pate; her sons, Glyn Whitworth (Lynn), Wayne Whitworth (Rebecca) and David Whitworth (Della); her grandchildren, Rebecca Murphy, Claire Gaglio, Grayson Whitworth, Matt Borchert and Max Clark Samantha Sewall; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Margot Sewall, Atlas, Sophia Gaglio, Oliver and Everett Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rutherford Church of Christ (729 McKnight St, Rutherford, TN 38369).
