She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Adkins and Ione Dyer Adkins; and her husband Gene Norman. She is survived by: her daughter Ronda Thomas (Phillip); her stepchildren, Sandra Schmidt, Gail Norman and Michael Norman (Kathy); her siblings, Mae Braundrof and Copper Adkins; and her grandchildren, Shane Thomas and Makalla Thomas. She is also survived by eight step grandchildren; and five great step grandchildren.
