She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis N. Michel and Katharyn Joyner Michel; and her great grandchild Noah Causey. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Causey (Kevin) and Kathy Miller (Delane); her sister Carolyn Siegfried; her grandsons, Joshua Causey (Laura), Nick Causey (Whitney), Trent Miller (Anna) and Aaron Miller (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Everly, Finley, Cooper, Baby Boy Causey, Julianna, Abagail and Drake Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Rutherford County Humane Association.
