It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Stewart of Rutherford, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Stewart and Bertha Cantrell; her brother Ronald; her sons, Stewart, Jr., Bobby Stewart, Thomas Stewart (Tommy) and Jerry Stewart; and her son-in-law Thomas Martin (Tommy).

She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Martin, Leigh Henley and Lisa Becker; her siblings, Bonnie Douglas and Charles Stewart (Buddy); her grandchildren, Ryan Martin (Somer) and Brad Henley; her great grandchildren, Leighla Keith, Kaylee Henley, Easton Martin and Jayce Martin; and her goddaughter Elizabeth Pruiksma.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital in Joyce's honor.
