He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Young Tate; his daughter Sidney R. Tate (Jennifer Keener) of Chattanooga; his parents, Franklin Tate and Myrtle Griffin Tate; his nephew Bobby L. White of Palmer; his nieces, Catherine Flury Johns of Tracy City and Amber Deonna Frederick of Grundy County; his siblings, Hollace Tate (Buck), Marshall Tate, Elsie T. Sedusky, Margaret T. Thomas, Rosalee Bryant, Albert Tate (Snooks) and Franklin Tate (June); and also, Max Anderson, Linda Walters (Gail), Edd and Ted Anderson.
