He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Swindle and Ada Bell Coble Swindle; and his sisters, Linda Arnold and Kay McCord. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dillard Swindle; his daughters, Lorrie Barton (Sid) and Gina Hudson (Paul); his sister Annette Ary; and his grandchildren, Lorna Hudson Bethel (Adam), Sarah Kate Coday Pickard (Matthew), Hunter Hudson, Kyle Coday and Brady Barton.
