He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Frank and Ella Belle Anderson Boyd; his son James Kirk Boyd; his siblings, Lorene Davis, Anna Dedmon, Beulah Williams, Mary Rich, Georgie Hampton, Rosie Sneed and James Wesley Boyd; and his granddaughter Lauren Michelle Eischeid.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Foster Boyd; his daughter Kimberly Star Wright (Steve); his grandchildren, Mary-Evelyn Corbitt (Isaac), Erika Boyd (Evan Jordan) and Joseph Boyd (Lauryn); his great grandchildren, Maleigh, Ryatt Boyd, Cheyenne, Logan, Talon and Liam Ramsey; and his grandchildren, Easton Jordan and Baby Boy Corbitt.
