He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Pitts and Nellie Bell Ashford Pitts; and his siblings, James Allen Pitts, Sr. and Gladys Brannon. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Pitts (Ashley), Leonard "Bubba" Pitts (Taylor), Carlton Lee Pitts (Ruby), Brandy McNeese and Bobbie Gail Bryant; and his siblings, John Pitts, Herbert Pitts, Anthony Pitts, Howard Pitts (Brenda), Carolyn Geroy (Frank), Pam Eccles and Shirley Haslam (Jerry). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
