He is survived by: his wife Melissa Wheatley Elam; his children, Sherrie Elam Yokley of Pulaski, Dixie Elam Hooper, Edward Elam, III (Sandra) and Charles; and his grandchildren, Heather Brunk of Murfreesboro, Mary Elam of Murfreesboro, Tyler Hooper (Joe) of Murfreesboro, Erica Hooper Morton of Murfreesboro, Abby Elam of Murfreesboro, Chaz Elam (Samantha) of Murfreesboro, Emily Elam Gore (Tanner) of Murfreesboro, John Yokley (Arianna) of Pulaski and Thomas Yokley of Pulaski. He is also survived by his wife, family, friends and his cats.
