Edward Elam Miller Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Elam Miller Jr. of Rutherford, Tennessee, who passed away on March 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leila Mae and Edward Elam "Pluck" Miller, Sr.; the mother of his children Ruth Leathers Miller; and his brothers, Ira Bradford Miller and William Crawford Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Halliburton Miller; his children, Marimae White (George), Connie Wilson (Mark) and Edward Elam "Eddie"; his grandchildren, Mary Elam Polk (Mark), Miller Wilson, Holly Wilson, Emily Smith (Collin), Elisabeth Vaughn (John), Jane Hearnsberger (Dennis) and Edward "Elam" Miller, IV; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Bradley Polk, Mary Bryant, Leila, Georgia Vaughn, Duke, Miller Hearnsberger and ElizaJane Smith; his stepchildren, Ken Halliburton (Lisa) and Kay Halliburton; his stepgrandchildren, Chase Pendergast, Reid Halliburton and Taylor Halliburton; and his sister Frances "Sis" Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Alive Hospice, or Good Shepherd Children's Home.
