The memory of Bruce David Sweet of Rutherford, Tennessee, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sweet and Margaret Zylman Sweet; his grandchild Cali Stone; and his brother-in-law Ray Sones. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stone Sweet; his stepchildren, Madison Raye Stone and Meshae Loy Stone; his siblings, Ron Sweet (Mary), Doug Sweet (Vickie) and Suzie Sones; and his grandchildren, Robert Stone, Charles Conaway, Ava Conaway, Marlie Conaway, Eli Conaway, King Conaway and Daykota Ross.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Abiding Faith Lutheran Church (10411 Old Nashville Hwy, Smyrna, TN 37167). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
