He is survived by: his wife Wanda LaRue Davenport; his children, Chris Davenport (Kristin), Lee Davenport (Kim) and Jennifer Messick (Brent); his siblings, James Davenport (Barbara), Eugene Davenport (Diane), Benny Davenport (Frances), Brenda Adams and Carolyn Hill (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Adam, Natalee, Luke, Maggie, Caleb and Kayla.
