She was predeceased by: her former husband J. D. Barbee; her husband Joseph B. "Rabbit" Thomason; her sons, Randy and Timothy Barbee; her parents, George Ragan and Ina Kesterson Ragan; her grandparents, William and Ellie V. Wampler Ragan; her uncle Lyle; her aunt Pearl R. Kesterson; and her siblings, Verna Lee Massey, Eula Mae Adkins, Avadene Cansler, Irene Radar, Billy Kesterson, Emma R. Huff, Mary Nelle R. Wilkerson, Julia Ann Recht, Charles Ragan and J. E. Ragan.
She is survived by: her son Gregory S. Barbee; her nephew Terry L. Huff; her granddaughters, Reagan Green (Ryan) and Jessica Barbee; her great grandchildren, Marshall and Lily Green; her stepchildren, Ricky Thomason, Susie Carter and Cindy Hines (Denley); her sister Elizabeth Ford (Ernie) of North Carolina; her sisters-in-law, Linda Ragan and Barbara Ragan of Virginia; her daughter-in-law Laurey Barbee; her niece Connie Wells; and her great-nephew Weston Wells. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
