He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bohannon and Marie Bohannon; his brothers, George Tom Bohannon, James Copeland Bohannon, Joe Bohannon and Henry Bohannon; his daughter Cindy Woods; his grandchild Dusty Mills; and his daughter-in-law Starr McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Viola M. Bohannon; his children, Kim Fugate (Rob) and Tim McDaniel; and his sisters, Patricia Dayton and Gail Greene. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
