He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Buchanan and Ruth Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Coward Buchanan; his daughter Alesha Buchanan (Mike); his granddaughter Anna; his siblings, Ralph, Charles Buchanan and Carolyn Horner; and his great-nephew Aaron Buchanan.
