She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Proffitt (Elwood Proffitt) and Coby Fugate; her brother William Fugate; her children, Benny Roger, Dennis Lyne and Glenda Mae Juanita; and her grandson Cedric Teru Whiteside.
She is survived by: her sister Diane Treece (Charles); her nieces and nephews, Christopher Treece (Karen), Charles Lamont Treece (Angela), Ulinda Fugate and Anita Springs; her grandchildren, Jonathan Parker (Micheline), Benjamin Chad Jones, Misha Fanny (Billy), Kemi Ely (Michael Chander), Martin Luther Thomas (Tanekia), Joseph Collins (Melinda) and Lynetta Burgess (Eric); and her friends, Dorothy Richmond, Ruth Isom, Judy McElhany and Odell Barnett. She is also survived by many other relatives including several great grandchildren and friends.
